    Fabiano Ferrada - Head Coach

 

  • Fabiano has been playing tennis since the age of four and has competed internationally, gaining a wealth of experience on courts around the world. Originally from Chile, hence a native Spanish speaker, he has lived in the Bay Area for nearly a decade, where he moved to pursue collegiate tennis and share his passion through coaching.
     
  • He held the #1 singles position on the De Anza College tennis team during the 16–17, and 17-18 season. With over 20 years of playing experience and more than a decade of coaching, he specializes in helping players develop strong fundamentals, including grip, footwork, and body positioning.
     
  • His training sessions integrate targeted drills to improve movement and reduce the risk of injury, such as warm-up ladder exercises and resistance band work. Whether coaching beginners or advanced athletes, he is committed to helping every player build confidence, refine technique, and reach their full potential on the court.

    Justin Spanner - Assistant Coach

 

  • Justin brings over 12 years of experience in school and recreational tennis and is now dedicated to sharing his knowledge as a coach. Currently pursuing a degree in Kinesiology with a specialization in tennis, he combines a strong academic foundation with hands-on playing experience to help his students build solid fundamentals, improve footwork, and develop smart, effective strategies on the court.
     
  • He specializes in coaching beginner and intermediate players of all ages, with a particular passion for working with children. His coaching style emphasizes not only skill development but also the social and emotional benefits of the game. Through fun, engaging group activities, Justin encourages teamwork, confidence, and meaningful connections—creating an environment where kids can bond, grow, and truly enjoy the sport.
     
  • Whether a student is picking up a racquet for the first time or looking to take their game to the next level, he is committed to making every lesson fun, motivating, and rewarding.
